The needs, plans and assets of the various participating companies have been tentatively studied in order to form a holistic but detailed enough picture on the capabilities and opportunities as the basis for the project structure and consortium participants. The project has been divided into five work packages, which will be executed over the project’s two years of duration (July 2020 – June 2022).
The consortium is based on the joint operation of research institutes and businesses, which will create and test models of how the existing software development approaches, enabling daily or even hourly updates, can be used in regulated context. The participants are active on various arenas in Finland, including in particular the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI), which will be associated with the project under the Highlight “Intelligent Service Assistant for the People in Finland”.
The project will run for two years. It is coordinated by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and participated by Helsinki University as well as six companies:
- Atostek Oy
- Bittium Oyj
- Mylab Oy
- Solita Oy
- Taipuva Consulting Oy
- Terveystalo Oyj
AHMED is partly funded by Business Finland and it is a part of Business Finland’s Smart Life program.
